Fayette Sheriff and Jail

For current custody, booking, bond verification, proof of incarceration, an arrest record, or a booking-photograph request, begin with the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office and Criminal Justice Center.

Fayette County Sheriff’s Office
705 Justice Drive
Somerville, TN 38068
Main: (901) 465-3456
Administrative hours: 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

The official jail page lists (901) 465-5247 for Booking and uses (901) 466-5247 in its bond instructions. Because those two published numbers differ by one digit, verify the correct line through the main Sheriff number. The county directory lists Jail Administrator Katreva White at (901) 466-3948. It does not identify a separate public records-unit number.

  • Use the home page for the current-inmate roster, warrant portal, booking fields, photo policy, and records-request steps.
  • Use the Daily Arrest Report for a newly processed booking, while allowing for intake and bond lag.
  • Use the Weekly Arrest Log for issue-based Sheriff reports, local news, and records beyond the live roster.
  • Use VINELink and TN SAVIN for free release, transfer, and custody-status alerts.

Police and Court Records

Oakland, Somerville, and Piperton police departments maintain city records, while the Fayette court clerk maintains the case docket and disposition. Oakland Police is at 170 Doss Circle, (901) 465-0070 during published weekday hours. Somerville Police is at 117 W. North Street, (901) 465-7307, with after-hours dispatch at (901) 465-3456. Piperton Police is at 3725 Highway 196, Suite B, (901) 861-8424; its Court Clerk report contact is (901) 853-4834 at 3575 Highway 196.

Fayette Circuit Court Clerk Ed Pulliam is listed at P.O. Box 670, 705 Justice Drive, Somerville, TN 38068, (901) 465-5205. Ask the relevant clerk for a charging document, docket entry, disposition, or certified copy. A jail entry records an accusation and custody event, not the final judgment.

Other Custody Systems

Use TDOC FOIL for a person currently or formerly in Tennessee felony custody or supervision. Use the BOP Inmate Locator for federal custody and the ICE Online Detainee Locator for immigration detention. These systems are not substitutes for the Fayette County jail roster. A “not found” result in one system does not resolve custody in another.
